Before solving a computer problem, I always recommend scanning and correcting the underlying problems that affect the health and performance of your PC:
- Step 1 : Download the PC repair and optimization program (WinThruster for Win 10, 8, 7, Vista, XP and 2000 – Microsoft Gold Certified).
- Step 2 : Click the Start scan button to detect problems in the Windows registry that may cause problems with the PC.
- Step 3 : Click the Restore All button to solve all problems.
Setting up automatic weekly (or daily) scanners will help you avoid system problems and get your PC up and running quickly and smoothly.
Wally’s answer: Many players complain that the OSCG suddenly freezes and that under certain circumstances a blue screen appears on Windows.
Problem
The blue Death Screen (BSoD) appears when you try to play CounterStrike: GO TO
Solution
I’ve found four possible ways to solve this problem.
Use the function to check the integrity of the game file in pane.
Corrupt and missing files can sometimes lead to failed games. For this reason, the streaming client includes a function that checks all game files for lost and damaged files. You can use this function and hope that the game will be corrected.
First, restart the computer.
Go to the Steam Client Library section and right click on your game (in this case CSGO). Click on Properties.
Click on the Local Files tab and then click Check the integrity of the game file.
If this doesn’t work, go back to the Library section. Right click on the game and select Properties like last time.
Click the Local Files tab and then click Browse Local Files. All your game files should be displayed.
Now delete the csgo.exe file and try the Check Game File Integrity function again.
This should replace your deleted csgo.exe file with a new one.
Try to play the game again. Did it go well? If not, proceed to the next step.
Set the option to perform OCSG in pairs.
These startup options determine how the game works.
Open Steam and go back to the Library section. Right click on the game and select Properties
Click on the General tab and then click Set up Startup Settings.
A window should appear, enter this command as shown below and click OK.

If the first command does not work, try entering the second command as shown below.
-cl_disablehtmotd 1 -novid
Update graphics driver software
Lack of graphics driver updates can sometimes lead to game failures. This can happen after the installation of Windows.
This can also happen if the graphics driver has not been updated for a long time.
You can update the graphics driver by visiting your computer manufacturer’s website. Select the make and model of your computer from the computer manufacturer’s website. You should find a list of available drivers for your computer there. Download and install it from there.
If you are using a custom computer, go to the graphics card manufacturer’s website and check to see if the device driver has been updated.
The easiest way to update your computer’s graphics driver is to use DriverDoc. This will update all drivers to the latest available version, not just the graphics driver.
Stop overclocking your GPU

The super speed of the GPU allows the CSGO (and other games) to run at higher frame rates. However, overclocking can also lead to heating problems, which in turn can lead to accidents.
It is best to deactivate the overclocking settings and check if the game is working normally.
